理學院大氣系舉辦專題演講：：Time-Lagged Eight-Day Typhoon Ensemble Quantitative Precipitation Forecasts using The CReSSModel and Recent Development to Project Prediction Quality through Machine Learning(112.10.26)
大氣系邀請臺灣師範大學地球科學系王重傑教授蒞系演講，講題為：Time-Lagged Eight-Day Typhoon Ensemble Quantitative Precipitation Forecasts using The CReSSModel and Recent Development to Project Prediction Quality through Machine Learning。王老師介紹利用雲模式CReSS來進行颱風侵台時的定量降水預報，並說明此模式在颱風登陸臺灣的前8天就可以掌握地面降水的強度與位置，並使用機器學習來預先得知此8天預報的準確度。讓同學們認識與學習到模式的基本概念與應用，也知道大氣觀測資料如何檢視模式結果的準確度。
